MEET THE ARTIST BEHIND THE PAINTING

The artist, Anasheh Nazarian, is a Registered Nurse who works in a Psychiatric Emergency Room in a Los Angeles safety net hospital. Anasheh volunteered to transfer to her hospital's Medical Emergency Room to help with the nursing shortage caused by the pandemic.

As she puts it, "No words could ever explain the struggles and experiences that healthcare workers went through and are still going through because of COVID. This painting is for all the healthcare workers who touched many lives."

Her painting is dedicated to all the healthcare workers working during the pandemic and contributing to the vaccine effort. You are saving lives.
